About the artist
James Cowan was raised in New Jersey playing the sport of lacrosse throughout the northeast. In 2012, he relocated to Tampa, FL and began attending George Steinbrenner High School where he is currently a senior and captain of the lacrosse team. In his free time following the move, James deeply analyzed the dynamics of his personal sticks and let his creative side loose in designing dyes. He began stringing heads for his teammates upon his first season in Florida. To expand his reach of players, James formally established Pocket Power Lacrosse. After founding an online presence and marketing through social media, he has earned a reputation for quality and authentic work throughout the lacrosse community.
